Harz mountains steam train travelling through the cold snowy woods with billows of steam catching warm sunset colours.

One of my favourite places to explore is the Harz mountains, just a few hours away by train from my home of Göttingen in Germany. The tallest mountain is called the Brocken and can be traveled up by steam train.
